Our Story
My husband and I had thought and dreamt about this exciting adventure for several years, and . . . it's happening!!!
The Nest Willis TX was built for creative retreaters like quilters, scrapbookers, card makers and more! The Nest officially opened on October 30, 2023! It's a one story barndominum-style house, decorated in an urban farmhouse decor with five rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy family room. Each room has a private full bathroom! The Nest sleeps up to 12. Three rooms sleep two and two rooms sleep three. The large crafting room in the front overlooks a peaceful piece of Texas heaven.
Our vision is to provide a peaceful and inspiring space for creative minds to come together, fellowship, and create beautiful things. We believe in fostering a supportive community of like-minded individuals who can learn and grow from each other and have a wonderful time! Our goal is that you feel so at home that you can't wait to come back again and again!
Other events that can take place at The Nest are: family reunions, a girls' weekend, a church group retreat, an extended training, a company retreat, a group in town for a wedding nearby . . . etc.!
Bookings at The Nest
Check out the calendar to make sure the dates for your retreat plans are available. Then, please complete this form to request a reservation or contact us for more information. We will get back to you right away to book your stay!
Blank dates on the calendar are open for groups to BOOK THE NEST! (Minimum of 7 people for at least two nights.)
If you don't have a large enough group to BOOK THE NEST, ask about booking just a room or two at an "** Open Nest!!" Look for dates on the calendar in green that show "** Open Nest!!" which means The Nest is open to crafters (women only) who love to meet new creative friends. Tap on the event to discover which rooms are still available. Then, you can book just a room or two.
The Nest can be booked for other groups or events as well. The minimum will need to be met so that you will have the whole house for your group/event!
